How bio-microneedling works
Natural sponge spicules from Spongilla Lacustris stimulate the skin's own wound-healing response, creating 3–5 million micro-channels in five minutes and enhancing product absorption by up to 3,000%.
The spicules themselves come from Spongilla Lacustris, a freshwater sponge whose skeletal structure is made up of calcium carbonate, silica and chitin. As they work through the skin they deliver those minerals and nutrients directly, while the chitin supports hydration and the skin's own water retention ability.
